Join our teams from the children and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) at Combined Healthcare for an information session, running all day on Friday 22 May from 9am to 4pm at Hazle Trees in Fenton.

This is a drop-in session where you can speak directly with clinical professionals, ask any questions you may have, better understand the CAMHS process and find out what support might be available.

Awareness is vital but real change comes when we take action too.

This we want to encourage you to consider what small action you could take to help support those who struggle with their mental health.

At Combined Healthcare, there are a number of activities and sessions taking place for staff. We are also joining in with Wear It Green Day on Thursday 14 May where staff are encouraged to wear something green and donate £1 to Combined Charity which supports staff and patient activity.

We are delighted to unveil the latest edition of the “Combined Minds” show – released today – which features a presentation showcasing how North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust is using innovation—particularly artificial intelligence (AI)—to transform risk management learning and training.

Using tools like Adobe Firefly, Generative Fill and the new facility from Apple to embed Codex into its Xcode programming tool, the team generates immersive training settings—from Victorian classrooms to futuristic spaces—demonstrating how AI can be embedded from the the start of the creative process through the entire production stages to completion.

Crucially, the same training content can be deployed across multiple formats: in-room touchscreen sessions, mobile apps, videos, and fully immersive virtual reality environments. Learners can access training anytime, track progress, and generate reports, with integration into learning management systems.

Overall, the show demonstrates how AI enables flexible, engaging, and scalable training, moving beyond traditional delivery methods to create a more interactive and accessible learning experience across the organisation.

Auction for Eurostar tickets in aid of Combined Charity🌟

Ward 5 is holding an online auction for two adult tickets and two children's tickets to travel on the Eurostar. The tickets can be used to travel to Paris, Lille or Brussels.

The auction is set to run until Thursday 30 April at 12pm. Individuals can enter their bid and also make use of proxy bidding where they can put in the maximum that they are willing to pay, and the site will auto bid for them up to that limit. The expiry date on these tickets is 5 December 2026.

All proceeds will go to Combined Charity.
