With a seated society comes a toxic mind: because our bodies are still, our minds are racing. Vinyasa yoga stills the mind because it has so many focal points that train the mind: the breath, movements, bandhas, postures, and sequences. We focus on the breath at first, synchronising the breath with the movements,

and then, as the mind gains the ability to concentrate, we are able to focus on many things at once. Yoga has many benefits. It can help to improve your posture & flexibility, calm the mind & reduce stress as well as bringing awareness & focus in to your life.

Hello, I'm excited to be starting a new Yoga class at The (beautiful) Gas works in Sudbury on the 8th May at 6pm. If you'd like to join us please arrive 10 minutes before. Sessions last around an hour and cost £6. Just bring yourself and your Mat!! Jayne

Two new classes starting at the Eco Centre in Uttoxeter on Tuesday 24th September:
9.30-10.45am - Absolute Beginners Pilates
10.30 -11.00am - Pranayama (Yogic breathing) and Meditation.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your first session to register.
Pilates - £6; Meditation - £3; Both sessions - £8.
No need to book, just show up. Bring a mat and a blanket and or cushion.

Stepping in to spring and lighter nights, I am starting a new Stretch, Balance & Restore Yoga class House on the 17th April 2024 @ 7.30-8.30pm. As there are limited places available payment will be made as a block booking, paid in advance to secure you space. Please PM me if you are interested.
