Despite the weather we will today remember the life of G Morley Fidler; Squadron Leader and son of Great Ayton. The service begins at 12:30 to coincide with the full military burial service in France. We will start with a short remembrance service outside at the War Memorial with The Last Post, 2 minutes silence and reveille . Then the service continues inside the church where Morley was baptised in 1912 as a babe in arms. All are invited to attend and show their support and respect to the bravery of this Airman and those who still serve in the Forces.

Calling any knitters or crocheters! Would anybody be willing to give a bit of their time to make some memory hearts and donate them to our bereaved families?

We thought it would be a lovely idea to help those who have recently lost someone to feel that little bit closer to their loved one. Thank you ☺️

We enjoyed a cuppa and some lovely homemade cakes at the Stokesley Support Group for Teesside Hospice Coffee Morning. We even won some prizes on the tombola!
Great to see such a well attended event for a fantastic local cause. Thank you

Gillian Barbara (Bee)
Gill passed away at home on April 23rd aged 57 with her family close at hand.
Gill was a much-loved Mother to Tom. A Sister of Ed and a Cousin of Andy, Pod and Huw.
Gill’s funeral service will take place on Tuesday May 19th at St Nicholas Church, Guisborough at 1.15pm followed by interment in Guisborough Cemetery.
Will those wishing to attend the service please meet at the Church.
Gill’s family have requested family flowers only please

The collection of donated bottles is growing! 🤩

Do you have a spare bottle of wine, a bottle of shampoo, a bottle of perfume or anything else in a bottle that you could donate for the Great Ayton Park Fundraiser stall at the Great Ayton Village Fete being held Saturday 13th June?

This lovely group of folks are taking it upon themselves to raise money to improve the Great Ayton playground for more children to enjoy in years to come.
