💉🦠We are now booking are Covid and Flu vaccination clinics🦠💉

💉 The clinics will take place at the surgery on the 4th of October and 18th October between 8-1pm (both are a Saturday)
💉You will need to have an appointment booked for your vaccinations - it is not a walk in clinic
💉 We are texting eligible patients in groups so please wait for your text to make an appointment - you can do this via the booking link sent on the text message
💉 Over 65's are eligible for the flu vaccine, over 75's are eligible for the covid vaccines as well
💉The covid vaccine which we will be using is the Pfizer vaccine
💉We will be doing home visits for house bounded patient, if this applies to you please call the surgery to be added to the home visit list

🌟We have been rated one of the best GP surgery's in North Yorkshire🌟

More than 700,000 patients in England completed the survey, which took place between January and March this year.

It gathers information on how patients feel about their local GP and reveals the best and worst surgeries in North Yorkshire and beyond.

There were 282 survey forms sent out to patients at Stokesley Surgery in Stokesley. The response rate was 45%, with 127 patients rating their overall experience. Of these, 73% said it was very good and 20% said it was fairly good.

Well done to all of the staff at Stokesley Surgery and thank you to all our patients who have left feed back.

💉HPV VACCINES💉

The HPV vaccine is given to boys to help protect against a range of cancers, including head, neck and mouth cancers.

All boys born after 1st September 2009 who missed their vaccination can catch up at their GP practice until their 25th birthday

📣NHS Cervical Screening results are going digital from September 2025📣

The NHS will begin sending negative cervical screening test results via the NHS app from September 2025.

If your smear result comes back as NEGATIVE you'll get:
✅A message in your NHS app
✅A push notification to you phone/ tablet
✅If you don't open the message within 72 hours, a letter will be sent out as back up

📨POSITIVE results will be sent via post still for the time being

💡Make sure you are set up for the NHS app & have notifications turned on💡
If you are not as of yet registered for online services, please call the surgery on 01642 710748 and speak to a member of the admin team
