We are thrilled to announce that Victoria will be joining Stone Medical Clinic in the next few weeks.

Victoria has been a physiotherapist for 19 years, gaining a broad knowledge of musculo-skeletal therapy for injuries related to work, sport, exercise, or hobbies, and general age changes. For the past 10 years Victoria has provided post-operative orthopaedic and gynaecology care, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Victoria developed a holistic approach to patient care and values the understanding of the impact of emotional wellbeing and lifestyle factors on maximising physical wellness. Victoria has maintained a particular interest in women’s health and strongly feels that there
is a need for healthcare provision to catch-up with women’s lifestyles- their hobbies, responsibilities and working lives.

We look forward to her joining our team and we are confident she will be a valuable addition.

This was a really moving discussion, highlighting the urgent need to improve care pathways, guidelines, and research for women. I am looking forward to what we can achieve together!👏

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Emma Wood will be joining our team at Stone Medical Clinic in July.

Dr. Wood is a highly experienced GP with a special interest in menopause. Her extensive background includes valuable experience in oncology, gastroenterology, and colorectal medicine. Furthermore, she has contributed significantly to primary care research as a fellow for Cancer Research UK, where she completed her PhD focusing on delays in the diagnosis of colorectal cancer.

We are all very excited to welcome Dr. Wood and believe she will be a valuable asset to our practice and the care we provide to you.
