Nutrition and Hydration Week | Thirsty Thursday 🥤

We all know how important hydration is both for ourselves and our patients.

Drinking enough fluid each day is vital. Signs of being dehydrated include:
💧tiredness
💧headaches
💧feeling confused as well as having a dry, sticky mouth.

Make sure you are drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day and you may need more if you’re exercising or the weather is especially hot!

Christmas Opening Hours

Please see the poster below regarding our opening hours over the festive period.

We’ll be open as normal on Christmas Eve, but please note we will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day & the two following Bank Holidays.

If you do need a pharmacy over the Bank Holiday then Birchill & Watson Pharmacy in Stone High Street will be open 11-12 on Monday 27th.

The following week, we’ll be closed New Years Day & Sunday. On Monday we will be open for an hour for emergencies at 11-12pm.

If you need any advice over the weekend you can call 111 for non urgent advice, or 999 for an emergency.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year! Thank-you all for your support this year, as a local business we really appreciate your continued support.

COVID UPDATE ⬇

😷 Face coverings will become compulsory on public transport and in shops. This does not include hospitality.

✈️ All international arrivals entering England must take a day 2 PCR test and self-isolate until they receive a negative result.

🏠 All contacts of suspected Omicron cases must self-isolate for 10 days, regardless of their vaccination status. They will be contacted by NHS Test and Trace.

It's that time of the year again - Flu Season!

If you're eligible for a FREE NHS Flu Jab, meaning you fall into the specific criteria or are aged 50 +, you can pop in and get your flu jab with us. No appointment needed, and we'll let your doctor's know you've had it.

If you don't fall into the criteria but would still like a Flu Jab, you can still get one with us for just £12.99. Again, no appointment needed.

Please wear a mask, use the hand sanitiser provided and ideally, please wear something so we can easily access your upper arm, when you visit. You can call us first, on 01785 812059, if you want to check we have stock / are able to vaccinate you.

Typically we are able to vaccinate, Monday - Friday. There may be a slight wait if there are people waiting before you and we will just need to take some details from you so we can record your vaccination.
