A few of our ladies headed along to Knit and Natter this afternoon, staying busy with their crafts and having a good chat along the way. It’s always nice to spend time with others and enjoy a change of company.

We were delighted to welcome Dylan the dog back for another visit this morning. His presence always brings plenty of smiles and brightens everyone’s day. 🐶 🩵

The room was filled with colour this afternoon as rainbow ribbons danced through the air to the music, bringing smiles, gentle movement, and lovely engagement from everyone who took part.

A truly uplifting and joyful activity for all 🌈🎶

Our residents wrapped up this morning and headed down to the harbour and beach on the trishaws. 🚲 It may have been a wee bit chilly, but that didn’t stop the stories and enjoyment of being by the water. 🌊 ⚓️
Thank you, as always, to the fantastic volunteers of Cycling Without Age Scotland Stonehaven for making it happen. ☺️

☀️ The sun was out, so we were out! Although walks weren’t timetabled for this morning, we thought it best to take advantage of the beautiful weather.

We had a fantastic afternoon of live music with the wonderful Angela Duguid, who had everyone singing along to classics through the decades. 🎶

The celebrations were extra special as we marked not one but TWO resident birthdays, with a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday and plenty of smiles all round. 🎂🎉

There was a definite Welsh takeover this morning! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

With the flag flying high, Welsh cakes on the table and some spirited trivia underway, our resident Welshmen were officially crowned “Best Welshmen We Know” (highly competitive category, of course!). ✨

A brilliant morning celebrating St David’s Day — full of pride, stories and just a touch of dragon-sized charm. 🐉

There’s something special about sitting round a table, sharing stories and putting the world to rights. A change of scenery, a great atmosphere, and enough conversation to power the whole pub 🍻🍺

This morning we swapped indoor activities for blue skies ☀️ Our residents enjoyed a gentle stroll in the fresh air, listening to the birds sing and spotting the first signs of new life in the gardens. 🌸🌼 It’s amazing what a little sunshine and birdsong can do — sometimes it’s the simplest moments that mean the most. 🌿🐦
