Anyone in need of some movement, breathwork, company & connection or….. want to try out yoga - your welcome to come along. It’s a really friendly class 🤍

Don’t worry if your new to yoga this is a safe space I encourage everyone to “come as you are” & where your at with no judgment - most of all - I promise you’ll leave feeling super relaxed after being tucked in for a cosy savasana. Your welcome to do as much or as little as you need (lie back on your mat & connect to your breath if that’s what’s needed today).

Class will begin with a gentle warm up learning how to connect to our breath,synchronising our breath with movement we’ll create an uplifting flow moving through a sequence of postures before finishing with moments of stillness & deep rest. Options will be given to modify & plenty opportunities for rest & connecting to your breath 🤍

Buzzing after teaching today - everyone did amazing, so proud of you all. I LOVED incorporating my absolute fave - backbends into our practise today, more importantly the moments of stillness, closing our eyes, connecting to our breath & doing what feels good for you ✨🤍

Challenging your minds & bodies by trying something out of your comfort zones, finding stability, balance & using the breath to go inward & calm the mind whether that may be in a more challenging posture -whatever that may be for you - or at rest - will help you to find comfort in your discomfort both on & off the mat & use the breath for present moment awareness.

Thank you all for trusting me, letting me be your guide & your safe space 🤍✨

Asana the physical part of practise teaches us stability & flexibility in both the body & mind moving through postures whilst focussing on the breath strengthens & calms the mind teaching you to remain present. practising yoga sutra 1.2 - yogas chitta vritti nirodha - stilling the the modifications & fluctuations of the mind - getting out of the monkey mind, staying in the present moment & focusing on the breath & movement 🖤

Morning yogi’s, there’s been a couple of last min cancellations if anyone would like to join us today for lunchtime yoga your more than welcome🤍

Also there’s a problem with the heating (currently trying to be fixed) so bring an extra layer to keep cosy until we get moving 🌟🤍
This is my Misty doggy who’s getting peed off as she knows it’s yoga day & wants to come with us 🤣🤣

I’ve had a few messages from people wanting to join yoga but feel a little nervous for various reasons - please don’t worry if your new to yoga - it’s a really relaxed space, my regulars are really welcoming & friendly - we’ll breath, move, most likely fall over & definitely laugh together. I don’t take things to seriously, I’m not the posture police 🤣 I aim to help you create some space in your mind, calm your nervous system, teach you breathwork, how to synchronise your breath with movement creating calm movement in your body & my favourite part….tucking everyone in for a well deserved rest.

But seriously we meet were your at with no judgement, there’s no pressure to do anything at all, you do as much or as little as you need & I encourage everyone to listen to their body, focus on themselves & not worry about what everyone else is doing.

It’s a great time to start as we’re starting a new block we’ll begin slowly & if you continue class over the weeks you’ll start to notice the benefits in your mental & physical health, changes & progress with your physical practise.

Hello yogi’s the new dates for lunchtime vinyasa flow were added to event brite yesterday & only a few spaces left already, so get booked on if you’d like to join us! 🤍✨

Next weeks last class before the Easter break is fully booked - but if you’d like to try it out before the next block ping me a message as often have last minute cancellations & can always try squeeze another mat in…. We’ll finish up on Tuesday with a community cuppa, cakes & catch up after class.

Absolutely buzzing after teaching today - it was so nice to have some beginners join us in class today - having never been on a yoga mat before they did absolutely amazing. Seeing my regulars progress, build confidence in themselves & their practise & challenging their minds & bodies by trying something out of their comfort zones is so so rewarding too. Thank you all for trusting & letting me guide you 🤍✨

We practised a series of hip opening postures today which will aid emotional release, alot of tension, stress & emotional trauma is stored here - so please be gentle with yourself, rest if you can. If any emotions come up, this is completely normal, acknowledge what you are feeling, giving yourself time & space to process these feelings, know you are safe & connect to your breath. Yoga can teach us to find comfort in our discomfort 🤍✨
