The Christmas Lights at 15 Farrochie Park are back, brighter than ever, and this year there’s an extra reason to pop down, enjoy the show, and drop a few pennies in the donation box.

Every pound raised will be DOUBLED by A&I – Dash Cabs.

So if you donate £5, the total becomes £10. A little becomes a lot, and together we can help support local causes right here in Stonehaven.

A huge congratulations to Picosdelistonehaven for achieving the Plastic Free Champions award from Surfers Against Sewage in recognition for removing 3 items of single use plastics from the business!! ⭐️

Picos also deserves a special mention for investing in their Reusable Cup scheme for their delicious takeaway coffees. For a deposit of £2 (which is returned to you when you return the cup) you get your coffee served in a lovely reusable cup saving countless cups going to landfill. 2GoCup

This is a fantastic initiative as currently 388 million disposable cups end up in landfill in Scotland every year. Let’s support this great local initiative!

We are looking for more local, independent businesses to take the pledge in support of our aim to gain plastic free status for Stonehaven under the Surfers Against Sewage plastic free framework. Businesses are required to outline ways in which they are reducing their use of single use plastic & disposable waste. These can be things that they have already done.
