It is such a beautiful clinic, Dr Brown is a Consultant within the NHS so I felt like I was in the safest hands throughout my treatment.

I’d never have lip filler — I’d look too overdone.”
I hear this all the time.

And honestly? I completely understand the fear.
Overfilled lips + viral trends + media exaggeration have normalised a look that feels… not very you.

But let me be very clear: that will NEVER be our treatment aim.

Every patient you see here said the exact same thing before treatment.

What we actually do instead:
• Filler is placed deep and strategically, not superficially
• Tiny amounts along the vermilion border to restore definition

Can I let you into a secret? I am not here to cut corners and I am not here to follow trends.

A few facts about me.....
Not your average aesthetics doctor ~ 7 years as a Medical Aesthetics Doctor, 15 years as a Doctor and a NHS consultant paediatrician.
I am a mum of two young children and believe me when I say life is one big juggling act!
I was born and raised in Glasgow and moved to Stonehaven from Edinburgh just over 2 years ago.
I am obsessed with skin health and a skin routine that works.

My moral compass doesn’t wobble — it leads.
I believe in medicine first, ethics always, and results that respect your face, not fight it.

When I’m not in clinic or on the ward, you’ll find me powerlifting at the gym or chasing fresh air on the ski slopes.

This year has been about balance for me so far.

Returning to work after maternity leave.
The family juggle (still learning).
Moving my body — Pilates, strength, time to breathe.

These are three treatments I personally wouldn’t choose as a medical aesthetics doctor — not because they never have a place, but because for me, the risk-to-reward ratio doesn’t align with my approach to aesthetics.

Thread lifts, fat dissolving injectables and body filler can all sound appealing on social media, but outcomes can be variable, and in some cases difficult to reverse or manage long term.

Good medical aesthetics isn’t about doing everything that’s available.
It’s about careful assessment, honest conversations, and sometimes knowing when not to treat.

Education over trends.
Subtle over extreme.
