We are a peer led community organisation promoting positive mental health & well-being. We work hard to promote positive mental health & well-being by providing access to opportunities to engage with activities proven to support a positive sense of emotional well-being. We work hard to tackle stigma and discrimination faced by people experiencing mental health problems by speaking openly about mental ill-health. We hold information stalls and free training opportunities for the local community. Free self-help resources and information leaflets always available in our community cafe - along with a great cuppa and great chat!! Our pop-up community cafe currently runs in Stonehouse twice monthly on a Thursday 10am-2pm. Please note this page is not continuously monitored and should not be used as a crisis resource. If you are experiencing a crisis with your mental health please contact NHS 24 on 111 or in Lanarkshire area contact Chris's House on 01236 766755

A big thank you to everyone who has ever been involved in the Hope Cafe! I personally thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

To the Hope Cafe...

I felt my tank was empty
My fuel was all dried up
There was nothing left inside of me, at the the bottom of my cup

I'll be forever grateful for The Hope Cafe
You were there for me, picked me up, made sure I was okay

The sad day came, the last Hope Cafe,
With so much left to say
There were people there that still care,
ever so much
A kind word, a hug, and such a gentle touch
Look for the good in life is what we always said
There are so many words to say, left there inside my head
I want to thank the souls that care
I know they will still be there
With their empathy and kindness we're all still kindred souls
Helping each other to once again feel whole
I'll forever be grateful for the friends there that I made
I know that I'm never alone and need not be afraid
The place we met may not be there, but through the years we've grown
With the best of folk I've known
Let's "HOPE" the legacy we made, will forever live on!
