We are looking for a Domestic to join our team at Avonhaugh Nursing Home.
Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
The hours for this role are 8am - 4pm, however weekend working is required on a rotational basis. Full-time or Part-time Available.
Excellent opportunity for Domestics to work in our lovely home and ensure we maintain our high standards of care and cleanliness.
You will help our friendly supportive and committed team and make sure Avonhaugh remains an enjoyable and rewarding place for all of our staff to work.
Duties include:
General cleaning duties throughout the home, including bedrooms, lounges, bathroom and communal areas.
Deep cleaning of areas monthly
Documentation of tasks carried out
Laundry Holiday Cover.
Alternate Weekends.

Avonhaugh Nursing Home is looking for a new Chef to join our already fantastic team.
An exciting opportunity for a creative chef to come in with some fresh ideas on how to improve the overall experience for our residents.
Must have chef/cooking experience but not necessarily in a care home environment.
The applicant must be able to work in an already close-knit team, must be reliable and must be able to organise a kitchen in a high pressure environment.
£14 per hour.
40 hours per week.
(Normal working hours 7:30am-5:30pm)
Weekend working required (alternated with our other chef)

Hi All, that time of year again...

As Christmas is around the corner and the festivities begin, Avonhaugh Nursing Home is looking for donations for our Christmas raffles..

We would be extremely grateful if small businesses and/or people could donate vouchers / hampers etc if able… we know this is trying times for everyone so donations could be a bottle of wine to a box of chocolates.. no matter how small we would greatly appreciate anything received.

All money raised goes to our residents funds

🚶‍♀️Staff Sponsored Walk🚶‍♂️
on Saturday, some of the staff took part in our staff sponsored walk - we managed to time it perfectly to avoid the rain. On the way round we got to see some of the local wildlife - including donkeys, ducks and geese!🦆🫏
Thanks to all your generous donations we have manged to raise £535 for our residents fund! We cant thank everyone enough for their generosity 💛
