The Lansdown Clinic was established in 1991 in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Originally a Chiropractic Clinic, the Clinic expanded in response to a growing demand for a wider range of medical and complementary health care. Outgrowing its original location, in 2002 The Lansdown Clinic relocated to its current premises, a magnificent Georgian townhouse in the very centre of Stroud. Here at The Lansdown Clinic we offer:

- Chiropractic (suitable for everyone including pregnant ladies, children, and the elderly).
- Sports Injury Care.
- Spinal Rehabilitation and Strengthening.
- Podiatry & Chiropody
- Massage (including sports, remedial, pregnancy, baby/infant, and reflexology).
- Pilates & Pregnancy Pilates. The Clinic has also recently expanded and now offers Tai Chi classes and Hypnotherapy.

This weekend, Hayley was at Chiro Live, celebrating 100 years of the BCA 🎉
An inspiring few days filled with brilliant speakers and plenty of learning.

One highlight was hearing from Michael Copland-Griffiths — number 2 on the original BCA register — who provided a history of the BCA and reminded us just how far the profession has come.

We also enjoyed an energising talk from Joe Wilks, and it was fascinating to learn more about the work our fantastic animal chiropractic colleagues do 🐾

Some key clinical takeaways from the weekend:

🏋️ correct loading + the importance of resistance training
🥗 supporting long-term health through good nutrition

All essential tools for keeping our bodies strong and resilient through every stage of life 💪

📚 Whilst the boss is away training still continues. Today, sports therapists Ashleigh and Alfie, along with chiropractor Hayley, spent some time together to reviewing a recent conference call surrounding dysautonomia. It got the group thinking about certain things they see in the treatment rooms and how they can combat! Go team!!
