Keeping our residents active includes doing things they enjoy.. board games ♟️, getting out and about 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🌳in the beautiful village and surrounding countryside and doing gardening 🧑‍🌾 🌱activities in our lovely courtyard. We have many keen gardeners who have been more than happy to get involved in tidying the garden 🪏 🌱 and planting seeds.. these have started to grow and we look forward to seeing them flourish 🌻🌻🍅🫘☺️

Today we had a small group of green fingered residents joining together to plant 🌱 a variety of seeds to be grown in our greenhouse 🌱🌱🌱
They enjoyed filling the pots with compost and sewing tomato seeds 🍅, runner beans 🫘 and two different varieties of sunflowers 🌻 🌻. It’s so lovely to watch them helping each other and talking about their own gardens 🪏👨‍🌾👩‍🌾 and things they used to plant 🪴With the lovely sunshine coming we will be looking forward to seeing the seedlings 🌱 pop up 🌻🍅🫘

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming Alice Move and smile 😊 to Oldbury House 🏡 for another great session of exercises with our lovely residents on Adelaide Unit . Everyone enjoyed joining in with the exercises.. some showing their competitive side 💪🏻☺️ and there was lots of encouragement and laughter 😂 within the group . Alice is always encouraging them to use hand 🖐🏻 eye 👁️ coordination aswell using colours to encourage them to reach their goals 🥰 A big Thankyou to Alice for the session ❤️
