Today residents joined together for a church service led by Elizabeth.. prayers 🙏were said and hymns were sung 🎶 by all. The service was enjoyed by everyone and afterwards they were given a cake 🧁 each that was kindly provided by Elizabeth ❤️ In the afternoon Stan kindly shared his Birthday Cake 🎂 with the other residents 🥰

Today we helped Brian and Carol celebrate 🥳 🍾🥂💐their 63rd Wedding Anniversary 💒👰‍♂️🤵‍♂️🥰 . Some of the other residents joined in the celebrations and helped congratulate them on 63 wonderful years of marriage ❤️ Thankyou to our chef Sarah for the lovely buffet for the afternoon. 🏡

A lovely paper craft morning with our lovely residents 🎃🍁🍂🍃🌿✂️✂️ who helped cut out autumn images to decorate the units .. and our family members who were just as happy to help with the cutting out ✂️🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️. In the afternoon everyone enjoyed our weekly visit from Laura and her lovely 🐕 Coco from Pets As Therapy 🥰 These weekly visits definitely bring so much to our residents and are very much appreciated. As it was such a lovely afternoon we took a couple of our lovely ladies (and Violet) out for a walk around Eastington. They enjoyed watching ducks 🦆 🦆swimming on the canal, chatting to passers by and even enjoyed an apple 🍎 or two that was put out for people to help themselves to by some kind person ☺️ They both said how much they enjoyed getting out in the sunshine ☀️ ❤️

Today we took a couple of our lovely ladies for a walk around Eastington. Whilst by the church they enjoyed watching a bride 👰 arrive at the church for her wedding 💒 In the afternoon we welcomed Laura from Pets As Therapy and her lovely dog 🐕 Coco for another visit with our residents.. it’s clear to see from the smiles on their faces how much they enjoyed these special moments ☺️❤️

Today we welcomed Rebecca Haselhurst to Oldbury House 🏡 once again for an afternoon of music 🎶 🎤
As always the residents had a wonderful time singing 🎶 along and dancing 🕺 💃to the music. Thankyou Rebecca for a great afternoon that was enjoyed by everyone 🥰

Starting the week off with a Harvest Festival service led by our Lovely Elizabeth 🎃🍆🥔🥕🍅🍏🧅🫜🫑🥭on Victoria Unit.. the residents enjoyed singing 🎶 hymns and joining in with the service and enjoyed some lovely cakes that were kindly provided by Elizabeth. Then in the afternoon a couple of our lovely residents enjoyed a walk to the shop to buy some fresh doughnuts 🍩 🍩 to eat on our walk 🚶‍♀️ 🚶‍♂️. Looking forward to welcoming Rebecca tomorrow for an afternoon of musical 🎤 entertainment ☺️
