Highborder Lodge has been an established residential home for 30 years. Mr Roger Thorne has been the proprietor since 1994 and during this time the home has been extensively extended and now offers accommodation for up to 42 residents. Situated in a peaceful Cotswold village, we are able to offer private rooms with en suite facilities as well as two spacious communal living areas and a sun lounge which offers views of both the gardens and surrounding countryside, an inviting light airy room for reading, relaxing and conversation. During the summer months our gardens provide places to sit and relax and our summerhouse offers shade. Highborder Lodge is a “Home” from “Home” and offers a warm inviting welcome, and we treat everyone with respect and courtesy. We value our residents as individuals and offer care services in accordance with their unique needs. We encourage our residents to enjoy their lives focusing on what they can do and not what they can’t, in a safe and comfortable environment

We are currently seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to join our team - for 2 evenings per week to include alternate weekend hours. Additional hours available to cover staff annual leave/sickness. For health & safety reasons, applicants must be min 18 years of age. DBS required plus two references. Minimum wage applies. We are currently seeking a Registered Manager for
our 40 bedded home near Stonehouse. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the care team;ensuring the provision of high quality service supporting the rights of our individual residents to live their lives as they wish as far as they are able. Salary to be discussed at interview. 40 hours per week,. 5.6weeks annual leave (pro rata). Applicants should be a Registered Manager, or prepared to undertake the process of becoming Registered within six months of holding post.
We are looking for someone caring, responsible with a Dip 5 Leadership & Management Health & Social Care (or currently working towards this qualification) with min 3 years experience.
