Today we enter Children’s Grief Awareness Week — a time of gentle reflection, recognising the profound impact of loss on children and the support they so deeply deserve.
Children’s Grief Awareness Week 2025
This year’s theme is “Sharing Stories, Strengthening Hope.”
We know that many children and young people can feel isolated and lonely, especially in the time after a bereavement. But we also know that a bereavement does not define who they are, it becomes part of their story.
By sharing stories, we can remind one another that we are not alone. Grief is hard, but it can also bring new insights, strength, and resilience that carry through life.
That’s why this week, we’re proud to be taking part in Children’s Grief Awareness Week. Each day, you’ll hear from some of our amazing Young Ambassadors as they share their experiences of grief and bereavement, and how they’ve found hope along the way.
Join us as we listen, learn, and raise awareness together.
