• life has life'd & changes are needed to be made at my lil studio - from w/c 2nd feb this will be the schedule ⭐️ {notice the added early morning class at which I'm soo excited for!!}

I endeavour to pour as much love & goodness into each class as I possibly can, stay true to myself & my deep love of yoga, while maintaining that old favourite - work life balance. you can't pour from an empty cup etc etc.

• there are many ways a yoga teacher can influence the atmosphere & vibe of their classes - language being one of them

I like to encourage a connection to the earth & our environment, inviting a limitless, open approach.

simple language swaps could make the difference between the group feeling limited & restricted, or open, without boundaries. I don't like to invite confinements, with either the environment, the mind or the body 🤎

I've found myself in a few classes this week cueing to turn towards the windows side/tv side & even this feels weird. trying to move towards no cues around the physical space at all 🤞🏼

& with namaste - I'm just not comfortable with it yet. I end all my classes the same way. want to know what that is? join me in a class 😉

• my genuine, nothing forced or unpleasant, heat building, pre-class warm up 🤎

not perfect but perfect for me. trying to practice rolling over my toes for more seamless chaturanga → up dog & to build some mobility into me feeties. all a fun lil process.

pre-teaching movement like this helps to ground me, to drop me out of me head & into me bod. endeavouring in 2026 to not have my first childs pose of the day at 17:45 🫠
