It’s the 20th Year for Women’s Cancer Challenge Stornoway & wish there were a some friends & family still around to join it with us. Any donation greatly appreciated to a fab charity. ❤️

The Women’s Cancer Challenge is the biggest sporting participation event in the Western Isles. Every individual who runs, jogs or walks is part of it. The participants in the Women’s Cancer Challenge have raised over £130,000 for the Lewis branch of Cancer Research UK. It is really important to emphasise you can walk, run, jog, walk/run - any method is acceptable as long as you don't use mechanical means! According to the World Health Organization, 1.6 billion people live with hearing loss, and around 1.2 billion experience mild‑to‑moderate levels — often “hearing well enough”, yet still struggling to fully engage in everyday moments.​

Calling all contact lens users and those who need to replace their spectacles before heading away over the festive period! 🎄🎁

For all daily or monthly lens users we are now giving a two week timeline from order to delivery to us, for those of you needing extended range prescriptions, you will need to order in the next few days to *hopefully* have them before Christmas.

For spectacle lens orders, we are already seeing delays so expect a wait of two weeks, anything less is a Brucies Bonus!
