TIRZEPATIDE (MOUNJARO®)

As the criteria for GP prescriptions for Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) for weight loss is very strict, we will be contacting eligible patients directly. Please do not contact us to enquire as we will not be able to offer an appointment.

Eligible patients must have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 40 or more, and AT LEAST four of the following health problems:

High blood pressure
High cholesterol or fat levels in your blood
Sleep apnoea (trouble breathing while sleeping)
Heart disease
Type 2 diabetes

Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) can now be prescribed by NHS GP practices. There is strict criteria for this and it will ONLY be available to those most in need. In the first stage of availability, only people with serious health conditions will be able to get it on the NHS. To get Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®), you must:

Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 40 or more, and

Have AT LEAST four of the following health problems:

High blood pressure

High cholesterol or fat levels in your blood

Sleep apnoea (trouble breathing while sleeping)

Heart disease

Type 2 diabetes
