An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced part-time Phlebotomist to join our Nursing Team.
We are looking for an individual who is clinically skilled with blood taking.
You will have undertaken phlebotomy training and have a minimum of 1 year experience in blood taking. General Practice experience desirable.
Working under the direction of the Lead Nurse and as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, the post holder will be responsible for performing venepuncture, as requested by the clinical team, to the entitled patient population. In addition, the Phlebotomist will be expected to support the nursing team on an as required basis.
You will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills, IT (SystmOne) and organisational skills and a positive attitude, interested in General Practice and the NHS. A dedicated, responsible person who has commitment to duty is essential.
You will be a key member of nursing team delivering care to our patients.

The role will be 28.75 hours per week.
Working days and times: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 08.15 – 14.00.
Annual leave and sickness cover will also be required when requested, sometimes at short notice.
Hourly rate: £12.85
