The three stages of frozen shoulder:
1️⃣ Freezing Phase: Pain increases gradually, especially with movement, and shoulder motion becomes increasingly limited. 2️⃣ Frozen Phase: Pain may lessen, but stiffness remains, severely limiting shoulder movement. 3️⃣ Thawing Phase: Range of motion starts to return as the scar tissue gradually breaks down and softens.

Signs & Symptoms:
Gradual onset of pain that starts around the shoulder and can spread down the arm.
Painful, restricted movement, especially reaching overhead, across your body, or behind your back.
Stiffness that makes daily activities like dressing, driving, or even sleeping challenging.

Recommended Treatments:
🏃🏼‍♀️Rehab: Key to restoring mobility and strength gradually through bespoke exercises.
🙌🏼 Manual Therapy & Massage: Can help relieve stiffness and pain, aiding circulation and promoting tissue healing.
🙆‍♀️ Stretching & Mobility Exercises: Essential to breaking up scar tissue over time, done safely to avoid further irritation.

We can often cause these pops ourselves by twisting our backs, stretching our fingers or toes. The pops are typically harmless, however, if you feel pain or notice swelling with the sound, it’s worth having it looked at.

🦵✨ Experiencing pain or stiffness in your Achilles tendon? You might be dealing with Achilles tendinopathy - a condition where the tendon becomes irritated or inflamed, often due to overuse or increased activity.

It typically feels like a dull ache or tightness, especially when you start moving or after exercise and over time if untreated, pain may increase and you may notice a lump on the tendon too.
