Having new ideas for residents to try is always popular and today was no exception. Gathering in the bistro residents tried the hands with pottery. Not just moulding and shaping but braving a small pottery wheel. 🏺🏺🛞

If you speak to any of our residents, they will tell you it’s harder than it looks. We think they were fantastic for their first time. Even though we didn’t manage a vase, the laughs and mess made the day.🤗🏺🏺🤣❤️

Resident Guy is a keen Rummikub player and for Christmas his daughter Linda surprised him with a wonderful gift. An amazing personalised Rummikub set. It is a large wooden set with Guys name is on the stands, tiles and the beautifully made leather case. Guy was thrilled to receive such and thoughtful and he is happy to share it with his team players. 🎁1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣

Our residents enjoyed a truly, relaxing wellness pamper session on Friday afternoon 💆‍♀️🧘‍♀️🥰

Everyone was treated to some well - deserved self- care which included nail care, face packs and a delicious selection of fruit platters and cakes. All topped off with a refreshing glass of Bucks Fizz 🍰🥂🍓🍉🍇🍍

Some residents also tried out our Shiatsu foot massager, unwinding whilst listening to a selection of chilled 50s and 60s music.

It was a lovely afternoon, filled with relaxation, laughter, shared stories and great conversation while enjoying each others company 💖💖💖

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to Hitchin museum to visit 'I Grew Up In The 80s exhibition 🕺🎶🎶
They were treated to a collection of fantastic 1980s memorabilia from toys and clothing to photograph, food items and much more.
The exhibition sparked lots of conversations as residents reminisced about living within such a colourful decade .
We ended our trip with a visit to the museum cafe where we enjoyed a relaxing cuppa beforehand heading home 😍
