This evening we had the pleasure of a visit from Fairfield Park’s Beavers and Cubs. Boys and girls came with their leaders to earn their community staged activity badge.🦫🪪
The well-being team set up some.Christmas crafts to do and some games to play. 👩‍🎨🎄
Residents had a wonderful time pairing up with the children, playing chess, board games, making angels and Christmas trees. 🎄 👼🏼♟️
It was beautiful to see old and young connecting, with the children asking the resident’s questions from a list they had.
After cakes, juice and a Christmas bauble filled with haribo, it was time to go home.
Residents agreed they had a lovely time.❤️

Our Cakes for kindness were truly appreciated by ‘The Need’ in Stotfold. Residents set to work this morning decorating the cakes with Christmas decorations to get everyone in the mood for the season. Our wonderful CRM Laura and the well-being delivered the cakes just in for the teams cuppa.🎄🌲🎁

🎉 A Very Special Celebration! 🎉

Over the weekend, our wonderful resident Mick celebrated his 90th birthday! 🎂💐

Mick was surrounded by his loving family as they came together to mark this incredible milestone. Everyone joined our residents in celebrating with not just one, but TWO delicious birthday cakes! 🍰🍰

He was also treated to a warm chorus of “Happy Birthday” along with thoughtful gifts and beautiful cards. 🎁❤️

It was a truly joyful day filled with smiles, laughter, and precious memories.

Theresa spent her day receiving beautiful flowers and gifts from her family. In the afternoon resident and staff celebrated by singing happy birthday and enjoying a slice of her cake. 🎂🎁🎉❤️

Residents had a fun filled morning for International men’s day, and kindly inviting some of our ladies to join them. 🕺🏻🙋‍♂️🏃‍♂️
With fresh pastries, a few games of Rummikub and carpet bowls everyone said they had a great morning.🥐🫖☕️
There was aeven time for residents Ivor, Shirley, Sheila and Ann to have a game of pool. 🔴🟡⚫️
Thank you to relative Bernie who joined in the fun and played ball girl ❤️☺️

🎉 Double Birthday Celebration! 🎉
Today we had the joy of celebrating not one, but two wonderful residents — Shirley and Anne — on their special day! 💐🎂

Our amazing kitchen team baked a delicious cake that everyone enjoyed, and both ladies were showered with thoughtful presents and heartfelt cards from staff and fellow residents. ❤️

It was a lovely afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of birthday cheer.

What better way to start a Sunday morning than to keep fit.🏃‍♀️

Residents had great fun playing carpet bowls together. There were some excellent shots, giving the residents an opportunity to stay focused, using judgement and concentration.👌👀

Next was balloon tennis, a great benefit for residents to use their upper body muscle and timing to hit the balloon. They had a Funtime and work very well as a team.🎈⭐️
