The Mind versus the Pantomine Horse!

Fun easy analogy ☺️
The person controlling the horse is the 5% conscious part of the brain 🧠
Giving sets of instructions to the guy at the back
Who’s representing 95% of the subconscious

Instructions such as left, right, stop and start
When to stand and when to sit down

The guy at the back totally trusting the guidance etc, believes what’s been told and moves ahead accordingly because it can’t see what the front can

So what I’m trying to say is that the subconscious believes what it’s been told all the time
So if the directions are ones of…

I’m ok I can do this
My needs are always being met
Things are always working out for me
I am healthy and excited about what’s unfolding the subconscious nods it’s little head and say’s okey dokey 👍🏻

The nervous stays calm, happy hormones released, body feeling good and life seems fun

But when not realising how the brain works allows unwanted conscious thoughts to seep through 🥴

I’m not good enough, clever enough, slim enough etc
I’m useless
I’ll never get a new job
I’m always ill
I’m not lucky
I’ve never got enough money
My car always breaks down
Etc

The subconscious goes okey dokey because it’s waiting on new sets of instructions all the time, if nothing changes it continues to keep

The nervous system in high state of alert,
Body feels poorly and life feels like a drag

So gaining awareness of this hopefully gets you thinking 🤔 what are you telling yours 😑

Awareness is noticing and paying attention to what you say and what you think

Replacing the dialogue with what you actually do want
Life then becomes more easy to navigate
Life then becomes more fun
And the body becomes more happier and healthier

Our amazing Nervous System is constantly taking a battering 😔

From the moment we wake up…

Getting children ready for school
Being at work on time
Meeting dead lines at work
Looking after poorly family members
Paying the bills
Etc etc

All contribute to our system staying in fight and flight - producing cortisol and adrenaline which over period of time has an impact on our health and wellbeing

There’s those who’s attention is on political and economic matters -
putting concerns towards the injustice currently playing out instead of seeing what’s broken and directing attention towards solutions and positive changes

Then there’s the empaths amongst us who are being deeply bombarded by the charges of energy that all the above generates

So by taking a moment before heading out for the day helps to self regulate our own nervous system

Using the analogy of keeping a car 🚗 in perfect running order so it’s able to drive smoothly, navigate around pitfalls, avoid collisions and safely take you on your journey

A calm nervous system helps release the happy hormones required to maintain a relaxed state

A relaxed state helps you to see situations more clearly, focus on solutions than problems, having better interactions with others etc

So here’s a quick mediation 🧘‍♀️
There’s so many free online ones
So many apps available, sure there will be one that resonates and works best for you

Even just taking a 5 minute check in breather will work wonders to start you off on the right foot each day 😊

What’s covered in the sessions that I offer…

Good morning 😊
How are we all doing today 🥴

Daily little nuggets of gold to keep things nice and simple because we do tend to make things hard for ourselves 😑

Stop what your doing and take a minute just to bring awareness to your breathing 🧘‍♀️

This will help send a signal to the brain that it’s time to relax

This then helps the nervous system calm down

A calmed nervous system helps you to observe your surroundings and situation’s with more clarity, then able to move forward with your day with more ease and flow

This moment of breathing is a perfect way to check in with how your feeling 😌

If feeling low and out off sorts what can you do today to help pop you back in your happy place

With daily practice of tending to your own needs
Asking self how am I feeling
What quality are my thoughts today 💭
What can I do to help make me feel better 🫶

All helps to be better prepared for your day 💞

Conscious choices 🧐

What choices will you make today ☺️

On awakening do you choose to start a new day with fresh intention or continue to focus on yesterday’s woes 🥴

Do you choose to interact kindly with family members or keep expressing unimportant aspects of them and their choices

Do you talk nicely to self or continue to be mean by repeating unhealthy behaviours 😥

Do you leave on time allowing a more calming relaxing journey to work or choose to leave later and cuss everyone that’s in your way making you late

Do you choose to set healthy boundaries with
negative colleagues who by the way are acting on their choices too
Or do you choose not to engage in drama trying to fix and mend with endless solutions and guidance that they choose not to take 🫤

Do you choose to stop and help others or choose to ignore as your far too busy 🫣

Do you choose to seek help with changing the unwanted choices in order to make better ones

Or are you choosing to stay stuck

What ever the situation we all have choices and when we gain consciousness awareness that the choices we make don’t bring us joy we do then begin to change what we think, what we say and what we do

So our choices moving forward help us stay more grounded and aligned, where life then feels happier, body then feels healthier and our interaction’s are so much more meaningful and fun

So what choices will you make today 😌

Do you tend to go the flow of life and allow it to unfold naturally or do you find yourself constantly dragging yourself around as if moving though mud 🥴

Examples:
Trying your best to please others
Doing extra work to gain recognition or promotions
Trying to control others and situations
Etc etc

By letting go of the need to orchestrate life
By releasing expections of others and pay more attention to how you feel

It’s as if magic ✨ then begins to happen…

You start aligning to better job opportunities
The right home, relationships, money then pops into your reality
You begin having healthier and happier interactions with others
The kids tidy their rooms without being moaned at
Etc

So by choosing to go with the flow instead you begin noticing solutions to problem’s
That things naturally unfold without you having to go looking for them

So relax 🧘‍♀️ take a breather have a little
faith that you always being guided in the right direction that’s perfect for you ☺️

Problems versus solutions

For every problem there’s always a solution
but because we’ve not been told that our brains rather than acknowledge the solution it fixates more on the problem 😑

The problem then gets bigger, we talk to others about the problem which amplifies the attention on it even more 🥴

By taking a breather in order to bring awareness back to this now moment
Gives opportunity to step back from the situation

In this observational place pay attention to other thoughts and feelings that drift into your awareness

Via imagination and ideas the solutions that your seeking begin to reveal themselves

Then put your attention in the wanted direction and watch momentum increase, feelings of relief, calmness, peace of mind is feedback encouraging you to align with that solution

As we gain more awareness of self when problems do occur we naturally then shift our attention in opposite direction
By thinking, envisioning, talking, creating and manifesting the wanted into our reality ☺️

So what changes 🤷‍♀️ you do 💗

‘Staying in your own lane’

What does that mean 🤷‍♀️

As I mentioned in a previous post we are all indeed on our own journey so let’s go a little deeper!

We are all different
We all like different things
We all have different passions & desires
We all like different foods & drinks
We all have different preferences
We all make different choices
We all look different (even twins will have differences)

But more often than not rather than staying in our own lane, travelling along our journey

We tend to put our attention on someone else’s 😑
We start comparing that theirs is better than ours
Or we judge or criticise others ‘lanes’
We try to shape ours to fit in with theirs
We do things for fear of not being loved, liked to just want to fit in
We don’t like to make a fuss so go ahead doing things that don’t bring us joy
We put of doing our things just to make others happy etc etc

Staying in your lane means exactly that…

Keep eyes focused upon your road ahead
Pay attention to where your being guided
Stop doing things that don’t make you happy
Enjoy the very things that help keep you in your happy place
Revel in the foods, drinks and activities that make your heart sing
Play your favourite music, wear those brightly coloured funky clothes

And allow others to enjoy being in their lanes too as it’s non of our business what they like etc
And it’s non of their business what we like

Remember there’s not just one way
There’s not just one truth
We are having different experiences so go and enjoy yours ☺️
