Over the past year, our long-time hospice supporters Di and Maggie have been busy raising funds!

From a fundraiser at a classic car show to a quiz night, a floral evening and a gift stall at Stourbridge Lawn Tennis Club (who are always incredibly supportive), their efforts have raised an amazing £2,274 for the hospice.

We’re so grateful for their time and dedication, year upon year that they fundraise for us. Thank you both for making such a difference. 💙

If you want to fundraise for The Mary Stevens Hospice please contact allison.hayes@mshfundraising.co.uk.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Spring Rag Wreath workshop! 🌸

It was a fantastic session filled with plenty of colourful fabric and a lot of laughter. Everyone had great fun making their own beautiful spring wreaths, and some even discovered they doubled up perfectly as crowns! 👑 It was wonderful to see everyone getting creative and enjoying a relaxed and friendly evening together.

We hope everyone who came along had as much fun as we did and left feeling inspired by their handmade creations.

Missed out this time? Don’t worry! Our next creative workshop is Clay Bowls, where you’ll have the chance to get hands-on and craft your own unique piece to take home: https://www.marystevenshospice.co.uk/events/clay-bowls-creative-workshop/

Know someone who would love getting creative with us? Why not treat them to a workshop voucher so they can join the fun too? https://www.marystevenshospice.co.uk/creative-workshop-gift-vouchers/

This Mother's Day, Sunday 15th March, our Wind Phone will be open from 8am until 8pm.

We understand that Mother’s Day can be a difficult time for many of us, and can bring sadness and emotions that remind us of a loved one who has died. Our Wind Phone provides a quiet and reflective space which gives you the chance to talk to those who have died and have your words carried to them on the wind.

As a small gesture, our Wind Phone will also contain a basket filled with Gifts of Kindness. If you visit the Wind Phone at this time please help yourself to a gift.

The Wind Phone is located here on the hospice grounds at 221 Hagley Road, Oldswinford, DY8 2JR.
