Lovely message received yesterday from one of our clients who we installed a stairlift for a couple of weeks ago for the lovely Mrs H. She was so happy with her stairlift when her neighbour mentioned that they were also thinking of a stairlift Mrs H very kindly recommended us. We wanted to say thank you to Mrs H with some flowers and a sweet treat!

Another perfect example of why we dont employ "sales" staff to go out and quote our products.

At Dolphin Stairlifts (Central) Ltd we all have varied job roles, I can be quoting one day, attending a breakdown the next, assisting on an install or catching up on paperwork in the office and booking all the jobs in. Our engineers are trained on all the stairlifts we install and are also out quoting, measuring up for installs and attending services and callouts.

As a company we choose to do it this way as we are all here to give our clients the very best and honest advice when it comes to purchasing a stairlift.

Our lovely client Mrs G from Oldbury had another stairlift company go in and quote for her stairlift, she and her family were told point blank that a stairlift would not fit and the only other option would be a through floor lift. Through floor lifts are massively more expensive and intrusive then a stairlift, of course sometimes there is no other option but for Mrs G this was NOT the case.

I myself quoted this one and within 5 minutes and a few simple measurements taken I knew that the Platinum Ergo Curve stairlift would be a perfect fit. A little tight on the knee room at the top but not nothing that couldn't be solved by simply shaving some woodwork at the top of the stairs to gain a few more mm.

My point is I dont work on commission, I am not sales person, Im not trying to hit a quota of sales..... my job is to ensure we provide the best, safest and most suitable stairlift solution we can and I hate to see vulnerable people being given bad advise just so they can be charged more money.

Lovely install yesterday of the Platinum Stairlifts Ultimate stairlift. With its first step start our client was still able to access the door at the bottom of her stairs when the stairlift is parked on the intermediate charge point just up the rail a little.

As always with Platinum we have the stylish chair with the Ergo plus seat base which makes the stairlift so comfortable but also a lot easier to get on and off the stairlift.

All in all a fab install. Been another busy week so far with our service engineers, installers and quotes going on everywhere including West Bromwich, Bilston, Walsall, Coventry, Stourbridge, Worcester and Dudley, has been a lovely few days driving around in the sun..... fingers crossed it continues 🌞

Happy Friday! The sun is shining it's almost the weekend what more can we ask for...... How about yet another cracking install from our engineers. The ever popular Flow X from Access BDD, this in my opinion is a stunning install for our lovely clients Mr & Mrs H.

Something new for us at Dolphin Stairlifts (Central) Ltd, the Welcome ramp from Enable Access. Our client wanted to regain control over entering and exiting his property using his electric wheelchair and due to the tress and bush we came up with this fit! We also supplied a couple of drop in ramps for inside too. Really happy with this install and eager to fit a few more ramps...... well when the weather warms up 😂

Lovely install from last week for our client Mrs. D, she previously had a Platinum Horizon installed that had done the job perfectly for years but an upgrade was needed so we stuck to what Mrs. D knew best and that is the Ergo straight stairlift from Platinum Stairlifts.

Apologies for our socials being a little quiet over the last month! I was unfortunately hit with the horrible flu going about over Christmas and New Year so had an extended break from work. Then January has been so so busy, probably our busiest ever.

We have had lots of installs of the Platinum Stairlifts Ergo straight and curved stairlifts but we have also installed the Platinum Ultimate earlier this week. We needed a stairlift for quite a tight staircase that ended on the landing with an increased weight limit (Upto 25 stone) so the Ultimate was the way to go!

Our last curved stairlift install of 2024! The Flow X from Access BDD was again the perfect solution for navigating the start from the hallway where we couldn't have the rail or stairlift protruding into the hallway. So the drop nose rail was the perfect solution, the stairlift will still travel down into the hallway so our client can get on and off easily and with the press of a button the stairlift can be moved to an intermediate park point out of the way to provide full access to the hallway.
