Cleaning your bike matters! 🚲

With the huge amount of rain from Storm Chandra earlier this week, now is a good time to remind you about the importance of cleaning mud off your bike after a ride.

Mud isn’t just messy — it can carry tiny pests, fungi, and bacteria that harm our trees and spread diseases between forests. Tree pests and diseases can easily travel in soil, organic material and water carried on bike tyres, boots, and kit.

🌧️ After wet weather, the risks increase because some diseases spread more easily in water and damp conditions. That’s why taking a moment to clean your bike after a ride really does make a difference (as well as keep your bike running efficiently and smoothly).

🧼 So, before you leave the forest, wash off mud and debris from your bike, boots and gear. These simple actions help prevent the spread of potentially harmful organisms that could damage other parts of the Forest of Dean, or forests further afield.

✔️ Arrive clean
✔️ Leave clean
✔️ Keep it clean!

Walkfit classes 30 mins

All my classes are super friendly and welcoming 🙏

You pay as you go so no booking blocks or paying in advance

A little reminder of what a fitness pilates class is
If you run,sit at a desk,cycle,walk,infact whatever job,hobby,or lifestyle you have I guarantee doing fitness pilates will enhance your performance, if you sit or drive for long lengths of time doing fitness pilates even just once a week will make such a difference to your posture and so making you feel so much more mobile,.

I have been very busy trying to find village halls that I can hire to teach my fitness pilates class,
I now have a class in Alverley on a Thursday evening and starting in January a class in Shrawley,
I will be doing classes online from January,
As many of you know so much of my time is taken looking after my son,but I will get there!
