This Mental Health Week, we want to shine a light on the incredible work done by “The Silver Line Helpline”, the 24-hour telephone helpline established by Esther Rantzen in 2019 that offers a listening ear for older adults, providing support, companionship, and guidance whenever needed.

As part of our own commitment to supporting mental health all year round of our clients & staff, we carry out “Welfare Checks” as part of our wellbeing program.

Each month every staff member and client gets a call from one of our Management team and is asked the simple question “How are you?”Opening the door for honest conversations and talking through any issues. We hope it stops the little things turning into big things.
