As the seasons change, your body is asked to move in new ways, longer walks, more outdoor activity, and simply getting back into motion after winter. But stiffness, tension, and aches often show up because your joints and spine haven’t been moving properly. Over time, this can lead to pain and discomfort that makes even simple activities harder. Chiropractic care helps restore proper movement, easing tension, improving function, and helping your body adapt naturally so you can enjoy spring without aches holding you back.

Shoulder pain doesn’t always start in the shoulder 👀
The shoulder and upper back are closely linked. The shoulder blade sits on the rib cage and relies on good movement in the thoracic spine (upper back). When the upper back becomes stiff, often from posture, desk work or time spent on phones it can affect how the shoulder moves and lead to discomfort.
Here Megan is assessing and treating both the shoulder and upper back to help restore better movement. Sometimes improving the upper back is the key to freeing up the shoulder. ✨

Stronger arms, healthier shoulders 💪

In Part 1/2 of our resistance band series, we’re focusing on upper limb strength and stability with:
✔️ Double arm standing bicep curls
✔️ Single arm standing bicep curls
✔️ Standing “drawing the sword”

These exercises help improve shoulder control, arm strength, and overall upper body function — great for posture, injury prevention, and everyday movement.

Save this for your next workout and stay tuned for Part 2/2 (lower limb focus)!

Walking is one of the simplest ways to support your health, but how you walk matters.

If you’re walking regularly, here are three things to focus on:

1️⃣ Posture
Keep your head upright and shoulders relaxed. Avoid looking down for long periods, as this can place strain on the neck and upper back.

2️⃣ Stay hydrated
Good hydration supports muscle and joint function, helping your body move more comfortably and efficiently.

3️⃣ Wear appropriate footwear
Supportive shoes help reduce unnecessary stress on your joints and improve overall walking comfort.

Small changes like these can make a significant difference over time.

If walking leaves you feeling stiff or uncomfortable, it may be a sign your body isn’t moving as well as it should. Chiropractic care can help restore proper movement and keep you active.
