Every 3 minutes someone in the UK develops dementia. This morning we are at Stowmarket Leisure centre with Fiona from Stowmarket & District Dementia and Nicky from Shaftesbury memory service who are also based in Stowmarket and we are talking to people about the challenges of living with this syndrome. We can give you advice and information on local services to support you or your loved ones. 💙

We are holding a raffle next week all in aid of Dementia friendly activities at Red Gables in Stowmarket. Please help us to raise funds for this amazing local Charity, tickets are £2 a strip and available from our office in Stowmarket. There are some lovely prizes including vouchers for cinema tickets, a meal out, cream tea for two, gardening gifts, several bottles of wine, a tea hamper, a rare Jellycat puppy called Rufferty and lots lots more! If you are unable to get to the office this week, I will be at stowmarket leisure centre on Thursday the 21st 9am-12 noon holding a stall for Dementia action week with Stowmarket and district dementia group or if you still can’t make it in and would like to take part then please send me an email julie.ponton@mycare-athome.co.uk
