How could this possibly affect a placenta business? I'll tell you exactly how..
This isn’t just about fuel.. And it’s not just about filling up your car anymore.
For small businesses like mine, this hits much deeper than people realise.
I rely on couriers every single day. To collect, to deliver, to make my service even possible. Without drivers, my business quite literally cannot function. There is no “workaround” when you’re dealing with something as time-sensitive and important as a placenta. Timing matters.
So when fuel prices rise… it doesn’t just hit wallets. It disrupts entire livelihoods.
It delays collections.
It increases costs.
It puts pressure on services that mothers are relying on during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives.
And I know I’m not the only one...
There are thousands of small businesses across Ireland feeling this right now, the ones people don’t always see. The ones quietly working behind the scenes, trying to stay afloat, trying to continue providing for their families and their communities.
This is about the bigger picture!!!
Because if it’s fuel today… what’s next?
At what point do small businesses stop being able to absorb the pressure?
At what point do essential, meaningful services become inaccessible?
People are not overreacting.
People are responding to a build-up of pressure that’s been ignored for far too long.
This isn’t just frustration.. It's pure fu**in exhaustion being shafted by a government that does not have its own people's best interests at heart.
People have had ENOUGH!
Please don’t turn a blind eye to what’s happening.
Because whether you realise it or not. It affects all of us.
They can break the individual but they will never be able to break the collective!
There is no time like NOW,we need to stand together 🇮🇪
