Please see attached details of our next Women Together Support Group Session

This group meet on a monthly basis on a drop in basis and is an opportunity to connect with others in a supportive space to share common experiences and develop skills to improve emotional health & wellbeing.

The next meeting will take place on Friday 29th May (10.00am - 11.30am) were participants will explore the concept of Mindfulness in Nature. This month's session will take place at our Tulacorr Community Garden & Allotment Project

Please note that the group is supported by an accredited counsellor.

Koram Centre - Bereaved by Su***de Support Group

Losing a loved one by su***de can be a very painful experience. The feelings of loss, sadness and loneliness usually experienced after any death of a loved one are often magnified in those bereaved by su***de by feelings of guilt, confusion, rejection, shame, anger, and the effects of stigma and trauma.

Here at the Koram Centre we are continuing to offer support to those bereaved by su***de through our monthly facilitated support group.

This group will bring together those with similar experiences to offer support to each other, fostering hope and healing.

Programme Details:
Date: Thursday 28th May
Time: 6.30pm - 8.00pm
Location: Koram Centre, 12 Railway Street, Strabane BT82 8EF

Please note that at this meeting we will also be undertaking some planning for the group going forward

Tulacorr Allotment & Community Garden - Open Day - 6th June 2026

We are currently preparing for our an annual open day at our Tulacorr Community Garden & Allotment Project

The event will take place Saturday 6th June, 11.00am - 3,00pm at the Tulacorr Allotment & Community Garden Project.

The event will be opportunity to showcase veg, flowers and herb produce which has been grown over the last few months.

A variety of produce will be available for sale with all proceeds being re-invested into the Koram Centre. Please see below for a selection of what we hope to sale:

Hanging Baskets (including refills)
Flower Pots
Surfinias
Lobelias
Jam
Honey

Please note that produce will be available for sale from 11am.
Participants are also welcome to have a look around our allotments and find out more about services we deliver there.

If you would like hanging baskets to be refilled, please contact the Koram Centre as soon as possible.

We are delighted to announce that the ACTION CANCER-BIG BUS will be visiting Strabane on the 21st of May 2026. See details in poster.

On the day there will be 20x Breast Screenings for Ladies aged 40-49 and 70+ (20 BOOKINGS NOW FILLED ) and a further 11 x MOT Health checks for men and woman aged 18+

Walk Leader training - Tulacorr Community Gardens & Allotment Project

Are you interested in establishing local walks in your area?

Walking for All, a new community walking programme is offering free Walk Leader training in Tulacorr Allotments, Strabane, on Saturday 23rd May, 10.30am - 1.30pm (finishing with lunch)

This is a great way to make a difference in your community, meet new people, enjoy the outdoors and help others get active.

Donation - Thank You

A big thank you to Graham Neiland for his fundraising efforts.

Graham completed the Endurancelife Giant’s Causeway 20 Mile Coastal Trail Run on the 11th of April, raising £325 for the Rory Carlin Memorial Fund Project.

Thanks to Graham for thinking of us.

Funds raised will be used to support delivery of the Rory Carlin Memorial Project to engage with local people to increase knowledge, understanding and skills on substance misuse and emotional health and to provide support on these issues
