Today Susan and Rab celebrated their anniversary, filling our home with smiles, stories, and a whole lot of love. It was a joy to share their special day with them — here’s to many more happy years together!

Today was pure joy with our lovely residents! We kicked things off with a lively game of dominoes — plenty of friendly rivalry, cheeky laughs, and little celebrations with every win. Then came the real fun… TikTok time! Watching our residents learn the moves, give it their best, and laugh their hearts out was honestly priceless. The room was bursting with smiles, silliness, and warm moments we’ll treasure. Another beautiful day spent making memories together.

“Today our residents enjoyed a fantastic animal therapy session with Lynn and her adorable puppies. The room was filled with smiles as everyone had the chance to cuddle, stroke, and interact with the pups. Sessions like these are so valuable, as animal therapy helps promote relaxation, reduce stress, boost mood, and encourage social interaction. Many of our residents shared how calming and uplifting the experience was. A huge thank-you to Lynn for bringing so much joy into our home today.”

We had such a lovely day with our residents and staff! After a morning of arts and crafts, we moved on to some fun brain-teasing games that had everyone laughing and competing in the best way.
Congratulations to our winners—Beth in 1st place, Molly in 2nd, Robert in 3rd, and Jack in 4th.
A big shoutout to Abbie and Kim too for giving it a great go and adding to the fun.
The day was filled with creativity, giggles, and plenty of smiles!

Today our residents and staff enjoyed a fantastic domino tournament filled with friendly competition, big smiles, and plenty of laughter. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, showing off their skills, and cheering each other on.

The atmosphere was lively, with lots of light-hearted competitive behaviour and a great sense of togetherness. Activities like this not only bring joy but also help build confidence, connection, and community spirit.

A huge well done to everyone who took part — we’re already looking forward to the next round! 🏆✨

Today our residents had the pleasure of welcoming members of Stranraer Parish Church who kindly came in to hold a beautiful Armistice service. It was a moving and meaningful time of reflection and remembrance for all, honouring those who served and sacrificed. We’d like to thank the church for joining us and making the day so special.

We are looking for a kitchen assistant/Cook for 1 day a week plus annual leave cover the hours are 8-10 kitchen assistant at £12.21 and 10-6 cook at £13 to work Thursday one week and Sunday the week after on a rolling rota. Please note this is a dual role and cannot be split into kitchen assistant or cook.
