Rob will guide us through a beautiful Holy Fire Reiki Experience, helping bring balance and harmony within while gently clearing away what no longer serves our purpose. A deeply relaxing and uplifting energy experience.

🌙 Lynne Carter - Astrologer
Lynne will be giving us an inspiring talk on Astrology, helping us understand how planetary movements influence our lives and how we can work with these energies for greater awareness, clarity and alignment.

Founded in August 2016 in Halifax as a support and networking space for kindred souls, The Holistic Hangout was created to bring people together around holistic and spiritual wellbeing - to connect, share, learn, and step more fully into their own power and purpose.

During the Covid years, this gathering space naturally expanded online and globally, allowing conversations, teachings, and collaborations to grow far beyond its original roots.

Now, a new chapter is unfolding as The Holistic Hangout begins to put down roots in Stranraer, while continuing to welcome people from all over the world - whether visiting in person or connecting online.

My path in life is deeply rooted in shamanism, and combined with my skills as a craftsman, I offer this experience from an integrated and heartfelt place. Drums have been a powerful portal for me, bringing profound healing, clear guidance, and deepening my connection with my voice as I sing.

Coming together in this intimate group, I’ll guide you through the process of creating your own shamanic drum.

Weaving shamanic practice into every creation—whether drums, rattles, or flutes—is part of my journey, and I’m overjoyed to share this with small groups across the UK.

What to Expect:
• A full morning of crafting your drum
• An active lunch, where we find our drum be**er (stick) in nature (or bring one that has spoken to you beforehand, depending on the location)
• An afternoon of finishing your creation together
• To close the day, I may share some flute music and a miniature sound journey featuring the drum

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an energy healing practice which originated in Japan. Rei - meaning Universal Wisdom (some sources will refer to Rei as Mysterious or Divine) and Ki - meaning Life Force Energy.

A practitioner will act as a conduit and channel the higher, universal energy into their client for healing and balance. It can help to relieve pain and reduce stress/tension. The Reiki energy will support the client in releasing “stuff” they no longer need to carry, be it emotionally, spiritually or physically.
Quite simply, Reiki can help towards a better life balance, support overall health and well being, assist at times of transformation as well as being a beautiful and gentle healing and recovery treatment.

Reiki is not limited to humans or even animals and distance Reiki can be just as effective as experiencing in person.

There is obviously so much more than I will impart with you all on here.
