Only Class 3 scooters (which go up to 8 mph) need to be registered with the DVLA. Class 2 scooters (up to 4 mph) for pavements don’t require registration. Make sure you’re following the right rules!

🛣️ Can You Drive a Mobility Scooter on the Road? 🛣️

Yes — but only Class 3 scooters! They need to be registered with the DVLA and have working lights, indicators, and a horn. You can go up to 8 mph on roads but must stick to 4 mph on pavements. Stay safe and know the rules!

Established in 2001, Active Mobility is an independent family owned business that has been built on the values of offering a quality product range and the very best service at extremely competitive prices.

Our showrooms stock a wide range of products, from small daily living aids through to stairlifts and scooters, and our expert customer service advisors are always on hand to provide assistance and advice.

We service a wide area and have a showroom in Stratford-upon-Avon. If you would like to view any of our products, or even take a scooter or electric wheelchair for a test drive, feel free to drop in to one of our showrooms.

In addition to sales we offer an on-site service facility and can supply spares and batteries for many scooters/power chairs.
