We will be doing our popular bucket collections on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th September at Waitrose in Alcester. Come and say hi 👏if you see us!

Our last bucket collection there in May raised an incredible £530.84 for the The Shakespeare Hospice! What a generous lot they are in Alcester! ☺️

Tomorrow is the big day! 🐉💦 Our annual Dragon Boat Race takes to the water, and we can’t wait to see all the teams paddling for victory while raising vital funds for The Shakespeare Hospice.

💭 Who will be crowned the Dragon Boat Champions of 2025? 🏆 We can’t wait to find out!

The Dragon Boat Race is almost here — and one team is bringing all the energy, colour and community spirit you could ask for!

Introducing the ‘Rowtorious FOBS’ crew from Bridgetown Primary School, paddling their hearts out this Sunday in support of The Shakespeare Hospice and Friends of Bridgetown School. 💜💙

Led by the fearless Captain Louise, this incredible team of parents and supporters is ready to row, roar, and race their way down the river — with a splash of fun and a boatload of passion. 🐉🚣‍♀️

They’ll be joined on the water by other brilliant teams from across the community, including:

We are recruiting for a Staff Nurse (Band 5) here at The Shakespeare Hospice! 🏡💜

What the role involves:

🏡 Working across Hospice at Home and Day Hospice, helping bring comfort and care to those with life-limiting illnesses.
🤝 Being part of a multidisciplinary palliative care team that supports patients and their carers / families, with holistic, person-centred care.
🌱 Upholding our core values: compassionate · accessible · respectful · effective — it’s not just what we do, it’s who we are.

📅 Permanent position — Part or Full-Time (up to 37.5 hrs/week)
💷 £31,049 – £37,796 (pro rata, depending on experience)
📍 Shottery, with travel across South Warwickshire
