🎉 I’m absolutely buzzing to share that I’ve secured a charity place for next year’s London Marathon and I’ll be proudly running for PDSA, an incredible animal charity that provides vital vet care for pets in need. 🐾🏃♂️
This isn’t just about the miles though—it’s about mindset too. Training for something like this gives you a real focus, a clear goal to work towards, and that can make a huge difference to your mental health. Physical exercise like running has been proven time and time again to boost mood, reduce anxiety, and build resilience.
It’s also a brilliant example of what I see every day in solution focused therapy—when we set our sights on where we want to go (instead of where we’ve been stuck), amazing things start to happen. One small step, one small win, one small mile at a time. 🏅
