🚨The 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 is used to warn if there’s a danger to life nearby, including extreme weather.

The government will be running a second 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟳 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗮𝘁 𝟯𝗽𝗺. When it is tested (and used live time) it will send a loud, siren-like sound and a distinct vibration to all mobile phones

𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 to receive these alerts. They are vital for your safety and can provide crucial information during emergencies. Remember, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘂𝗽 for this service; it’s automatically enabled on most smartphones.
