Today we celebrated Diwali, and the festival of lights by transforming our library into a cosy retreat for our staff to enjoy their breaks.

With soft lighting and yummy refreshments, it was a lovely way to show our appreciation and mark this special occasion together. ❤️

Today we said goodbye to our lovely night care assistant, Teena, who is returning home after nearly three years with us.

Teena has always been a kind, friendly presence on the night team and will be missed by everyone. 😢

A huge thank you to everyone who kindly donated to our Harvest Festival appeal, we were delighted to pass on a generous collection of food to Stratford upon Avon Foodbank, where we know it will make a real difference to those in need. 😊

To share the Harvest spirit with our team as well, we created a special hamper of goodies, and popped all our team members names into a draw.
We’re pleased to say the lucky winner was our receptionist Jackie! ❤️

Yesterday we had a real treat when our newest resident, Steffan shared his passion for music with us all. With his guitar in hand, he delighted everyone with a brilliant rendition of ‘Diana’ by Paul Anka. It’s always special when residents share their talents, and Steffan’s performance brought, smiles, toe-tapping, and a wonderful atmosphere to our home. Welcome, Steffan, we can’t wait to hear more. 🎶 🎸 ❤️

Yesterday we had a wonderful visit from children at Stratford Primary School, who spent the morning with some of our residents.
They played games, did some coloring, and read stories together. It was heartwarming to see the joy and connection shared across the generations. 🥰

Spending time together like this is so valuable, it brings energy, laughter, and a sense of purpose to our residents, while giving the children a chance to learn from the wisdom and experience of older generations.

We’re so grateful for these special moments and look forward to welcoming them back soon. ❤️

💙Alice Court Take Fundraising to New Heights for International Animal Rescue 💙

In celebration of World Animal Day, General Manager, Michelle Love-Patel, from Alice Court Care Home - Avery Collection, is preparing for the ultimate challenge - abseiling off the stunning Peacehaven Cliffs.

Michelle is taking on this daring feat to raise money and awareness for International Animal Rescue, a charity dedicated to protecting animals in need across the globe. 🐒

“This is such an important cause,” said Michelle. “I’m thrilled to be able to take part in something that not only pushes me out of my comfort zone but also supports vulnerable animals who desperately need our help.”
