5 Star Local has been set up to recommend the best retailers and trades people in your area, while at the same time raising funds and awareness for well deserving local charities. Each time you contact any of our recommended companies via this site, they agree to donate a percentage of your transaction to the pot which will be distributed to the chosen charities at the end of each year. Full details of this will be published for all to see and hopefully this will encourage more members to join each year. This year we have chose 3 charities that are close to our own hearts which are -
Yorkhill Sick Children's Hospital, Cancer Research & Scottish SPCA. However, we will be asking our members if they wish to review these each year or keep the same ones on as we are aware that everyone has their own feelings and experiences. You can leave reviews on this site to tell others of your experience with the listed shops/trades people and the top firms will receive an award at the end of each year based upon their reviews, performance and service above self.
