Thank you Cornwall Grows CIC for the delicious salad leaves you delivered for us to try this week. We’re using them in our rolls and salad garnishes. Great to be able to have such local produce. Growing together for a greener tomorrow! 🌱 🌎

We are proud to be part of Cornwall Grows, working with the Bude Climate Partnership. Cornwall Grows is our community interest company which is committed to educating and empowering locals to cultivate their own food sustainably. Every seed planted is a step towards a healthier planet.

Come and join us this Saturday 27th April to learn how to prick out and pot on your seedlings. We will provide everything required. Meet us at Stratton Primary School 10am- noon. Sign up using the link in our bio.

Logs for sale
We are selling 4 dumpy bags of logs we have at our community site so we can fund more tree work we need doing to open up the community forest school.
Including local bude delivery we are asking for £100 a dumpy bag.
The logs were cut last July and seasoned out side and recently been split, it’s mainly Ash wood.

(Don’t worry we are keeping enough back for our fire pit for the community forest school)

I had such a great time at yesterday’s community growing event.

It was so lovely meeting all the new people who came to learn how to grow their own food with us through our community growing courses funded by .

It was so lovely watching and teaching all the little ones how to sow seeds.

Spaces for our next course are going fast, make sure you book a space for ‘Seed Sowing to Success’ sooner rather than later.

Cornwall Grows CIC has now released our free veg growing courses and gardening courses, if you are a complete beginner or just need some extra help with certain elements of gardening then we are for you!

Including;
Veg on a plate 10week course
No dig,
Seed sowing,
Pricking out and potting on,
Compost making and Bulbs for pollinators.

We’re bringing in that start of spring by releasing our 10 FREE tickets for our “Veg on a Plate” course! It is a 10 week course covering a wealth of gardening knowledge for anyone that is interested in growing their own food. 🥒 🍅 🥗

Two course options for choose from at checkout;
1. Wednesday evenings in Stratton, Cornwall
or
2. Thursday mornings in Bude, Cornwall

Children welcome, this course is suitable for everyone!

On 9th February we hosted a public consultation about the future of Binhamy play park, Bude.

Cornwall Grows CIC has taken over care of the area and plan to transform it in to a beautiful community garden 🪴

We plan to;

🥬 Grow vegetables & produce
🍅 Host gardening courses
🥕 Be a hub for locals to learn and grow together
