This simple little phrase popped up on my notifications today, courtesy of a postcard-making app of all things. Simple words, and so true.

However, it's often ourselves who we are least kind and loving to.

We need to change this. We need to make sure that we are as kind and loving to ourselves as much as possible. Otherwise we find our mental health, emotional well-being, and physical health suffer.

Why not make time to be kind and loving to YOU today? And see how you can bring about a healthy change to your life?

Reflection...

Whatever 2021 dealt you, whatever happened, you made it to 2022. Reflect on all you have achieved, no matter how seemingly small or insignificant; you achieved it. Be proud of yourself!

Look up and forward, look out to the horizon, and breathe. Breathe in strength, confidence, love, belief and happiness. Breathe out stress, anxiety, sadness and self-doubt. And make 2022 a year of being kind. Kind to others and kind to yourself.

"Hypnotherapy Helps"

Diets. They suck, don't they? If we manage to lose the weight we set out to lose, how long does it stay off for? How long before it creeps back on? We can spend so much of our lives fixated on losing weight by counting calories, restricting our food, denying ourselves all the 'good' things in life? Why?

Often we're just not happy with our figure, and push that into all aspects of our lives. We'll turn down invitations to events (albeit online ones, these days) because we just don't feel good enough in ourselves to get dressed up. We put things off for the days when we can fit into that outfit, or will feel slimmer/fitter/healthier/bigger. Again, why?

Maybe we need a new way of thinking? Kick ourselves up the butt, and get some body positivity going? Then we can enjoy our bodies, our lives, and our friendships; allowing ourselves to take time to change our body physically. But once we've changed our body mentally!

And we can do this using the positive power of hypnotherapy. Remember... Hypnotherapy helps...!

The weight is staying off, I'm still eating 'nice' foods, and I'm absolutely chuffed to bits to be wearing this slinky little gothic beauty πŸ–€πŸ–€

Admittedly, the sleeves mean washing up is impossible, but I can live with that! 🀣🀣

Dommett Young Hypnotherapy has a new therapy couch. And boy, is it comfortable! If you're really lucky I may actually get off it and let you lucky clients lounge on it. Or I may just stay here forever...
