We are proud members of the NAFD and SAIF which gives you the reassurance that our staff follow a strict code of conduct at all times, so when you need us to act and be there for you, G Holland and Son Funeral Directors will take care of you and your loved one. Today we mark 81 years since the D-Day landings, remembering the service and sacrifice of all those involved in turning the tide in the Second World War.

D-Day was the largest seaborne invasion in history, marking the beginning of the liberation of France and Western Europe. A truly international effort, it saw British troops fighting alongside the United States, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, France, Greece, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, and Poland.

Join us as we remember the service and sacrifice of all those involved in turning the tide in the Second World War.
