🌸 March at Arthurs Court, what a month! 🌸

March has been absolutely packed here at Arthurs Court! We kicked things off with a very special puppy introduction day 🐾 always guaranteed to bring the biggest smiles, and it certainly didn’t disappoint!
Throughout the month we’ve been busy with rock painting (some gorgeous ladybirds!), shamrock collages to celebrate St Patrick’s Day ☘️, and getting creative with pom-poms. We’ve had a go at skittles, tested our patience with the stacking game, and then manicures and hand massages, because everyone deserves a little pampering 💅
We’ve also enjoyed some lovely colouring sessions, and to top it all off, the kitchen smelled absolutely amazing when we baked our banana bread 🍌🍞

Mel has absolutely outdone herself this Easter with her incredible Simnel cakes, they are simply gorgeous! 😍 Traditional and beautifully made. Save us a slice!

🌱 Can you help us grow something wonderful?
We’re looking for donations of seeds, seed trays and compost to use in our activities here at Arthurs Court. Gardening brings so much joy, it’s therapeutic, social, and gives everyone something to nurture and look forward to. 🌻
If you have any spare seed trays, bags of compost, or even seeds you’d like to pass on, we’d absolutely love to receive them!
Please drop us a message here or pop them into reception. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference to our residents’ days. 🙏

February was absolutely packed with fun, laughter, and love here at Arthur's Court, and we couldn't be prouder of our wonderful residents! 💛

🧘 We kept moving and feeling good with our chair yoga sessions, a firm favourite for both body and mind.

🥞 For Shrove Tuesday we enjoyed some pancake flipping, there were some impressive techniques on show (and a few very entertaining near-misses!)

💝 For Valentine's Day, our residents got creative making the most beautiful paper love hearts.

🌸 The creativity didn't stop there! We brought a little early spring indoors with our gorgeous spring flower collages, the results were stunning.

🦙One of the highlights of the month had to be our visit from Twinnies Petting Farm, the smiles said it all! There's something magical about animal therapy, and our residents absolutely loved every moment. 🐇

🎲 And of course, no month would be complete without some friendly competition over board games, the rivalry is always good-natured... mostly! 😄

A huge thank you to everyone who made February so special, our incredible staff, wonderful families, and of course our amazing residents who bring the heart to everything we do. ❤️

As we spring into March, we have some lovely activities in the pipeline including; rock painting, Wellness Wednesdays, Spring wreath making and seed planting 🌻

It’s been a busy January at Arthurs Court and a great start to 2026 😊
We had a visit from Museum To You who did a fantastic talk and display about The Bishops Palace and the swans. We planted our spring/summer bulbs, started our Knitting Circle, kept fit with some balloon activities and created some stunning winter flower jamjars.
We celebrated National Lego day today by taking on the Six Brick Challenge, and we now have a Valentines Day Raffle to winner our gorgeous heart bunny by guessing the number of Lovehearts in the jar, only 50p a guess ❤️ to raise funds for activities 😊

It’s been a full December for the festive season here at Arthur’s Court, with crafts, activities, games and entertainment.
The Christmas party was enjoyed by all. Thanks to Country Dave for an enjoyable performance, what a fantastic turnout!
