This month at Grafton Lodge has been extra special as we celebrated not one, but two birthdays for two wonderful ladies — both named Patricia! 🎉

Both celebrations fell in the same week in March, giving us double the joy, laughter, and cake!

Today at Grafton Care Home, Mother’s Day was filled with beautiful moments from start to finish. 💐

Throughout the day, we celebrated the wonderful mothers with smiles and time spent together. Ladies enjoyed relaxing moments with family, sharing memories and appreciating the warmth that a day like today brings.

The highlight of the afternoon was our special Mother’s Day meal, where everyone gathered around the table to enjoy a delicious spread prepared just for the occasion. It was a lovely time to celebrate, chat, and make the day feel truly special.

From quiet conversations to joyful celebrations, today reminded us just how important it is to honour the mothers who have given so much love and care throughout their lives. ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day from everyone at Grafton! 🌸

Today we celebrated with a lovely Mother’s Day themed arts and crafts session, where our ladies enjoyed getting creative. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and beautiful handmade creations.

We would like to wish all mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures a very Happy Mother’s Day. Thank you for the love, care, and inspiration you bring to our lives every day. 💐

Last week at Grafton our ladies and gents enjoyed a simple but fun sensory activity – doodling in onion granules! ✨

Using trays filled with the granules, residents had a go at drawing shapes, patterns, and even writing their names. It was a lovely way to encourage creativity, stimulate the senses, and share a few laughs together.

Sometimes the simplest activities bring the biggest smiles! 😊

Last week, we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating a very special birthday – Vivien’s! 🎉🎂

The lounge was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of birthday cheer as everyone came together to make her day extra special. Vivien received lots of warm wishes from residents and staff alike.

It’s moments like these that remind us how important it is to celebrate each other and create happy memories together.
