This weekend some of our volunteers have braved the scorching heat at Tewkesbury Medieval Festival☀️

I've stayed indoors as much as possible, until the moon has shone brightly🌕 and the bats have come out🦇

I'm currently working on a project for my son, creating a costume for a festival.

Tewkesbury fair meet up TODAY ♡♡♡
A few of us love this festival of old.. it's free and so many traditional crafts, folk music, food and happy vibes. We'll be chilled out on the haystack seating about 2pm if anyones feeling called to the roost.

🌼 Creative check in! 🌼

Over the past week I confess I have not picked up my felting needles or pastels even once.

It has been a good reminder that creativity takes many forms, and doesn't always have to end with a physical item to sit on a shelf or hang on a wall.

A walk in the woods brought me a tawny owl feather; the sound of trees knocking and creaking in the wind, as though talking to each other; a tree-stump creature; and a poem about a sacred well that began to weave itself inside my mind, then slipped away as the misty rain fell.
