Out today - my latest foray into audiobook narration: 'On The Care And Keeping Of Orcs'. A Fantasy Romance by Kass O'Shire (with plenty of sauce, so I use my Frank Ryan alias).

The power of passion, intention and doing what you love 🤩

At age 17, she was rejected from college.

At age 25, her mother died from disease.

At age 26, she moved to Portugal to teach English.

At age 27, she got married.

Her husband abused her. Despite this, her daughter was born.

At age 28, she got divorced and was diagnosed with severe depression.

IIt’s all about the voice. What it means to activate and enjoy your voice - freeing up patterns it can weave in script, speech or sound. How we transform, express and align ourselves with the greater story of Life.

I’m fortunate to have a voice that helps provide food and shelter for my offspring, so whether it’s training, performance or therapy you’re after, that’s where the money goes.

Aged 23, I was diagnosed with a large brain tumour - a young musician who’d moved to London. Singing, writing and performing helped me through my parents' divorce in childhood, and my brain injury as an adult (see ‘Brains On Toast’ Theatre show and ‘The Brain Tumour Song’ links here). I got into Audiobook narration just in time for lockdown, when it became tricky to do sound healing face to face.

I've worked on projects for The National Portrait Gallery, Age Concern, Home Farm Trust, Soundart Radio and Stroud Theatre Festival, among others. I specialise in hunting and tracking the harmonising influences needed to capture authenticity, with passion, commitment and light-heartedness.
