There have been recent changes to the NHS Cervical Screening Programme recall schedule.

From 1st July 2025, eligible women and people with a cervix aged 25-49 years old will be invited every 5 years instead of 3 years if their routine screening shows they do not have HPV.

Further to the announcement about the start of GP mounjaro/tirzepatide prescribing. Gloucestershire GP practices are currently working with the County Medical Board to decide how this will be achieved. When we have more details we will share them with you and start booking in eligible patients.

As exciting as this is, for now, please may you wait before booking.

Eligibility in 2025 is patients with a BMIโ‰ฅ40 and โ‰ฅ4 โ€˜qualifyingโ€™ comorbidities including hypertension, high cholesterol, sleep apnoea, ischemic heart disease and type 2 diabetes.

We still have some furniture we need to get rid of from the old surgery. If you want to come and have a look at what is left (see pictures previously posted) then we will have everything outside in the old surgery car park tomorrow. Anything still there on Friday afternoon will be disposed of.
