Relax and Restore is not a luxury, it is how your nervous system stays well.
Stress gets praised for keeping us sharp and productive. And yes, it has its place. But your body does not heal when it is switched on. It repairs when it feels safe enough to soften.
This Tuesday evening class is a 45 minute guided lie down in shavasana designed for busy brains and wired bodies. It is not about trying to meditate properly or clearing your mind. You do not need to concentrate harder or sit upright and get it right.
In many meditation practices you are asked to hold a metaphorical helium balloon and to keep bringing your attention back to holding it.
In hypnotic meditation you can let the balloon float. You do not have to hold anything. You lie down and allow my voice to guide you into that in between place where your system can finally and fully exhale.
