With a few simple home checks for Iron, Vitamin D and TSH for Thyroid, I have the answer!! ….. I am anaemic!

As I always try and promote, we are not there to just do sports massage. We treat, we correct, yes we do sports massage, but we also screen health. Today we did just that and wish everyone involved the best

A big well done to the whole team, you guys are immense!

GET YOUR HANKIES!!

5 years ago I was hit by REDs, a chronic fatigue disorder which left me bed bound. I went from a pretty good top international age group athlete to nothing. Immersed in fatigue and tiredness that took many things away from me, including being a dad to my daughter. My beautiful wife took the reins whilst I tried to navigate myself out of the depths.

I then got multiple clots on both of my lungs just before Xmas in 2021, just another little hurdle to keep trying to face

I thought I was breaking the back of it finally, about to do my first triathlon. Not in my usual shape, with comments about my weight. It was tough but I thought you’ll see. I won the swim and actually biked strong and got on the run only to get calf pain. I had to pull out, and this was the start of another calf clot which in 2024 went to my right lung

Another year of training, disappointment, gains and losses and here we are at 2025.

I am now on life long blood thinners to avoid future clots. I have dodged a life bullet twice and feel thankful for what I have, and for what I WILL get back

In 2024 I couldn’t finish most races due to fatigue and I’m super proud to say that 2025 has been much kinder. There have been blips but I’m back racing and finishing. Im not back to anywhere near my old self but I’m proud of myself for getting there

With the help of my friend and coach Dan Geisler we’ve only gone and automatically QUALIFIED FOR:
✅European Age Group Champs
✅World Age Group Champs

It’s an emosh post for because I now feel this is the start!! See you in 2026!!

The remainder of a very sweaty run, I even melted into the grass!

Thanks always to those that support athletes with either sponsorship, ambassadorship or even brand association

The guys have been great and their nutrition and general support means so much

5 years ago I was a top 15 in the World in Age Group Triathlon, 3 years ago I couldn’t walk more than 15 minutes without needing a 2 hour sleep after through exhaustion, then multiple clots in my lungs, another lung clot 1 year ago put pay to another season BUT im now I’m back training 10 hours a week and looking at my first race in 2 weeks

I’m not what I was (yet) but I’m at least trying and am sure I’ll get there. Coach Dan keeps me going, holds the reins, and controls my urge to bury myself each session

My wifey and beautiful daughter are who I want to make proud again…. That is all!
