The remainder of a very sweaty run, I even melted into the grass!

Thanks always to those that support athletes with either sponsorship, ambassadorship or even brand association

The guys have been great and their nutrition and general support means so much

5 years ago I was a top 15 in the World in Age Group Triathlon, 3 years ago I couldn’t walk more than 15 minutes without needing a 2 hour sleep after through exhaustion, then multiple clots in my lungs, another lung clot 1 year ago put pay to another season BUT im now I’m back training 10 hours a week and looking at my first race in 2 weeks

I’m not what I was (yet) but I’m at least trying and am sure I’ll get there. Coach Dan keeps me going, holds the reins, and controls my urge to bury myself each session

My wifey and beautiful daughter are who I want to make proud again…. That is all!

Well it’s 4 weeks until my first race following ANOTHER blood clot on my lung back in June 2024. I’m not going to be back as my old self just yet but im hopeful that each race I’ll get stronger and stronger

Blueseventy have always been my wetsuit of brand for many years, often being at the front of most age group world champ swims.

The flexibility is great and the buoyancy fits with my swimming body position. For comfort, they rarely rub either so no neck burns to embrace during a race and for days after!!

WOW baptism of fire today at my first competitive swim event for nearly 5 years

The comeback has been bloody long from multiple serious illnesses, but today was the first line in the sand

The Royal Navy Masters Meet was a great venue at Millfield School. I checked out a few hall of famers

I am still a record holder for a number of events here but today was just about swallow the pride and get wet. Why I entered 3 events within 15 mins of one another, but a good training session!

400 free: 4.37. Gold in AG
100 fly: 1.07. BRONZE IN AG
50 breaststroke: 34 sec. 5th

Those that know my background know I won’t be happy with the times, but I am gracious to at least being able to be back racing. I’ll only get faster each week.

Yes it’s true! The GT will be supporting the T100 Tour with all of the best long course athletes in the WORLD 🌍

Having worked with for 4 years, to add this accolade is huge. There aren’t many triathlon physios who can say they are working at T100 and Supertri

It’s a huge privilege to be doing this and I thank the guys at T100 in allowing this opportunity
