Dear Relatives and Friends

In light of the recent diagnosed COVID-19 cases in our geographic region and with utmost consideration to our Residents health and wellbeing we strongly urge that family members or friends who have recently travelled outside the UK boundaries, to refrain from visiting their loved ones at RRH until the incubation period has passed (this is currently 14 days, but this advice may change). We appreciate that there will be many views on this action amongst family members and friends of our Residents and we hope that everyone understands the ongoing fluidity of the situation.

Regardless of the current Public Health England advice, we have a Duty of Care towards the most frail and vulnerable, our Residents, to keep them safe, therefore we will continue acting in our Residents best interest by putting in place the most secure of measures to minimise any possible infection and to contain its spread.
