Why do 3 different Aquasol products fill the jar to different levels despite having the same weight? Great question!

🤓 It’s due to varying bulk density, influenced by particle size, packing efficiency, moisture content, and the physical structure of the plant material (ie. whether they are leaves, roots, or seeds), simply put, some powders come out fluffier than others!

For example. 5g of ground ginger may not fill a teaspoon, yet 5g of dandelion root will - this is because density varies by up to 2.5 times between different dried and ground herbs 🌱

How cool is that, it shows just how different plants are 🌿

Hibiscus has been used for many years as a base for many herbal or ‘fruit’ teas, it is the sharp flavour and strong colour of hibiscus that is often mistaken for a berry 🔍

The flower of hibiscus contains approximately 10% mucilage leading to a gentle infusion which remains popular today throughout the world.

Exciting news 🤩

Say hello to our two latest editions to the Aquasol® family 🥰

We are proud and excited to be able to bring to you our two new teas - Ashwagandha and Spearmint. As always, both are finely ground to enable the natural digestive processes to activate and absorb the wonderful properties of these botanicals.

Spearmint with it's soothing and cooling properties tastes less peppery than it's cousin peppermint, which some prefer.

Ashwagandha has been in the limelight in recent years. Enjoyed with a cup of warm milk and cinnamon or barley at the end of the day can aid a restful sleep and rejuvenate you for the next day.

Spearmint will last around 50 days, and Ashwagandha 30 days (perhaps a little quicker if you can't help yourself!).
